Melissa Niedfeldt

Melissa Niedfeldt, MA, LPC, CSAC,PS-IT, CDBT, CSQTP, CCTP

Melissa Niedfeldt MA, LPC, CSAC, PS-IT, CDBT, CSOTP, CCTP is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Family Life Education from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, and a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Lakeland University. Melissa  provides treatment for children, adolescents, and adults in both individual and group settings. As a therapist, she works to create a safe and nurturing environment where her clients feel empowered and safe.

 

Melissa is experienced in working with clients with suicidal ideations, self-harming behavior, and severe and persistent mental illness/substance abuse issues, and assisting clients with court-ordered mental health/substance abuse treatment. Melissa is currently a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist, Certified Sex Offender Treatment Professional, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.

 

Melissa specializes in a wide variety of treatment modalities: dialectical behavior therapy, drug and alcohol treatments, co-occurring disorder treatments, sex offender treatment, mood disorders, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and self-harming behaviors. Melissa enjoys working with clients on learning: DBT Skills, cognitive behaviors therapy, solution focused therapy, recovery based treatment, coping skills and self-soothing techniques by implementing mindfulness. She provides treatment to child (3yrs+), adolescents, and adults.
