Arbor Mental Health Center

Rachel started her career in healthcare as a CNA while attending nursing school. After graduating from Northcentral Technical College, she spent the next six years working as a traveling nurse. Rachel was introduced to multiple areas of nursing while developing a diverse skill set. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for psychiatric nursing.  Before joining Arbor Mental Health Center, Rachel worked at an inpatient behavioral health hospital for five years. Here, she was familiarized with a wide range of psychiatric needs and the challenges that come along with them. Rachel considers herself to be a mental health advocate and is excited to continue providing services, education, and resources for her clients, as well as bringing awareness to mental health.

In her free time, Rachel enjoys anything outdoors. She, her husband, and their two children spend their summers camping all over Wisconsin and relaxing out on the lake. Their winters are spent snowmobiling and ice fishing, followed by hot chocolate and family movie time around the fireplace.
